Hi everybody!Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez gave as a present to Mr. Barack Obama a book that for now is an Amazon best seller.
The book is an essay by Eduardo Galeano, Uruguayan journalist published in 1971. In this work, difficult to classify as many of Galeano, the author examines the history of Latin America on a global basis since the European colonization of America to the Caribbean with contemporary stories and stories saying the constant plundering of the natural resources of the region part of colonial empires, between the XVI and XIX, and the imperialist states, the United Kingdom and the United States mainly from the nineteenth century onwards.
